When the S.H.I.E.L.D. recovery team arrived three hours later, they found Bruce Banner sitting alone in the valley. The strange dawn had vanished. Normal gray Arctic sky stretched overhead. And carved into the obsidian at his feet was a single word in no known language, but which Banner would later translate for Hill: The Incredible Hulk -lingkh dawnhold pkti-

Banner felt the Hulk stir not with rage, but with a strange, mournful recognition. Lingkh meant brother in a language that hadn't existed for ten thousand years.
