As the camera flashed, Anya peeked into their minds.

Their latest mission: a weekend trip to the snowy Frigis region to sample the "Grand Duke's Vanilla" pudding. The winner of the military's dessert contest would earn a Starlight Star for their school. Anya had seen Loid’s mind flicker with the thought: "If Anya wins, we gain social standing. No one suspects a family obsessed with pudding."
