Tara Knowles (Jax’s wife) is under increasing pressure. She’s been offered a job at a hospital in Oregon, which would allow her and the boys to leave Charming. She struggles with whether to tell Jax, knowing he might not leave the club. Meanwhile, Gemma is suspicious of Tara’s distance and tries to maintain her grip on family matters.

Clay Morrow, still recovering from his own wounds, tries to exploit the situation. He sees an opportunity to undermine Jax by suggesting that Tig’s mistake shows Jax’s leadership is failing. Clay secretly meets with Pope, attempting to broker a separate deal that would protect himself and possibly regain power.
