Karanlık Cadı (English title: The Black Witch ) is the debut novel of American author Laurie Forest , and the first book in the critically acclaimed The Black Witch Chronicles . Released in Turkish translation by Dex Kitap (or similar YA fantasy publishers in Turkey, depending on the edition), the book has garnered a dedicated following for its ambitious world-building, morally complex characters, and unflinching exploration of prejudice, power, and rebellion. Plot Overview: A Chosen Path Forged in Fire The story follows Elloren Gardner , the granddaughter of the legendary Black Witch – the most powerful and feared magical warrior in the realm of Erthia .
