الشاب "أديتيا" رجل أعمال غني ولكنه مكتئب بعد وفاة والدته وترك حبيبته له. في القطار، يقابل "جيت"، فتاة بشخصية مرحة، ثرثارة، وحالمة. تهرب جيت من بيتها لتتزوج حبيبها "أنشومان". بسبب ثرثرتها، تفوت القطار وترافق أديتيا في رحلة غير متوقعة.
Geet realizes that Aditya is the man she truly loves. In a beautiful climax, she proposes to him at a railway station (reversing the opening scene). Aditya accepts. Aditya brings Geet back to her family in Bhatinda. He tells her family the truth about Anshuman. Her family forgives her. But Geet still feels broken. Aditya then decides to do for Geet what she did for him: he forces her to live again. He takes her to the same places they visited, makes her talk, makes her angry, and slowly brings her smile back. Aditya returns to Mumbai. Inspired by Geet’s zest for life, he takes charge of his company again. He becomes successful, rich, and happy. Months pass. One day, he sees Geet’s photo in a magazine. He learns that she never returned home. Her family thinks she is with Aditya. Aditya realizes he loves her. He becomes successful
