Let’s be honest. The golden era of football management sims is a hotly debated topic. Some swear by CM 01/02, others by FM 05. But for a dedicated (and slightly stubborn) group of us, holds a special place on our hard drives.

I’m currently 15 games into a journeyman save starting at FC Nordsjælland. I’ve just sold a Danish left-back for £8m to RB Leipzig. The board is happy. The fans are singing my name.
