“You’re an idiot, Ichigo,” he whispers to himself, smiling grimly.

Inside, Kisuke Urahara, Jinta, and Ururu are cleaning up the aftermath of the Bount battle. Urahara’s fan covers his smile, but his eyes are sharp. “He’s been sitting there for three hours,” Jinta mutters. “Creepy.”

Urahara steps outside. “Still feeling it, Ichigo? The hollow inside you stirred during that last fight, didn’t it?” Bleach Episode 83

A white desert under a black sun. A row of tall, throne-like chairs. In the center sits a man with brown hair, glasses, and a gentle smile—Sosuke Aizen.

“You’re late,” Ichigo says.

They find Ichigo waiting on a rooftop, the candy wrapper already crumpled in his pocket. His spiritual pressure feels different—heavier, wilder, like a storm about to break.

Grimmjow snarls. “I held back. He’s not ready.” “You’re an idiot, Ichigo,” he whispers to himself,

“You lost to a substitute Shinigami,” Aizen says softly, not as an accusation—as a fact.
